Sustainable tourism and ecotourism researcher & consultant with extension, education and development background, have been involved in ecotourism, (sustainable) tourism and development, research, education and consultancy for over 15 years and have done research in Iran, Malaysia and the Netherlands. I received my PhD in Environment and Development (specialized in ecotourism and sustainable tourism) from UKM. Having worked in the public and private sectors and NGOs, I have research, consultancy & work experience in a diverse array of projects including sustainable tourism and ecotourism planning, Ecotourism & sustainable communities, development and evaluation, cultural tourism, agro and rural tourism extension, education and development, participatory and collaborative management, rural entrepreneurship and community involvement in tourism.
