Hello! I am a Digital Content Writer for the Travel Promotion Division of the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department. Our department manages TravelOK.com, various social media accounts for the state and sends monthly newsletters as we pitch Oklahoma's exciting attractions and events. I see Oklahoma as a destination and aim to increase local tourism and overall awareness and enjoyment of this great state. My goal is to gain as much exposure for the state as possible and inspire others to explore and discover new things here as well.

Writing about the gems tucked away in small towns and remote locations as well as being up-to-date on what's happening in various venues across Oklahoma brings me great joy - and keeps my calendar filled with places to go and things to do. While I love love exploring the state, I’m also happy to plan a road trip in the US and delight in trips abroad - especially if I can indulge in an extended stay.

I'm a firm believer that travel unlocks so many wonders and I love trying new foods and drinks, getting outdoors as much as possible and making new friends wherever I go. As St. Augustine said, "The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” Adventure awaits! Let's go!
