A freelance writer, content creator, and trainer, I was born in Europe but raised in the United States. I've lived in Malta, as well as Germany and Croatia.

I am an avid globetrotter who loves off-season travel. During my adventures in more than 65 countries, I've learned that travel’s greatest gift comes through interactions with people. Some of my most memorable experiences have been sharing a bottle of champagne with distant French cousins in Alsace, learning how to milk goats in a sleepy Bulgarian village, and ringing in the Vietnamese New Year with a Hanoi family. I love delving into a place’s history and its artisanal scene. I also welcome opportunities to practice French and German, as well as new languages.

My husband, Shawn, and I were married in the ruins of a snowy German castle. We’ve since been known to escape winter by basing ourselves in the Mediterranean or Southeast Asia.
