Paid travel opportunities (PTO) make travel accessible by taking away financial, logistical, and mental barriers that restrict many people.
Not every PTO fits every person. And even our PTO Dashboard doesn't have every single one out there. So we're also teaching you how to fish for your own opportunities, and how to prepare a stellar application to win them.

Thanks so much for sharing! I am a member of the Packs Light team, so I know first hand how our team puts a ton of effort into vetting and sharing out these paid travel opportunities (PTOs).
The PTOs we share can range from funded conferences, study abroad scholarships, travel contests, paid speaking engagements abroad, funded internships, remote jobs, and more!
Outside of posting PTOs, we also share resources to teach others how to win these scholarships to truly help to level the playing field.
We've seen a ton of success stories from our audience so far (check out our Winners Wall), and now we hope everyone reading this also finds at least one PTO to take advantage of so we can continue making travel accessible. :)
