In the past year a lot of new & innovative travel apps have hit the market and there's so many to choose from. I'd love to know what is your current favourite travel app?

My favourite travel app for the past 2 years has been FlightRadar24 — I love keeping an eye on what's flying around in my part of the world. There's been some unusual flight routes to say the least!
I mean I would have to say NaviSavi but there are so many great ideas floating around right now! I actually have been checking our YouTravel.me and I'm already looking at a tour to go on through them!! :)
I have a funny story about Google Translate. I was in Moscow a few years ago, and walked past an aviation museum near my hotel. Of course, I had to go check it out! Inside were hundreds of small model soviet-era airplanes, with pictures of their inventors / test pilots and stories about each one. Obviously, it was all in Russian. So I pulled out Google Translate and started reading all the stories about the exhibits on my phone. It was fascinating. The owner of the museum then approached me and started explaining the history of each plane to me, so I got a personal tour — I think he wanted to practice his English!
Those 2 are not new, but I use them a lot when traveling: Rome2rio for transportation info on buses, trains, etc, I find the info very reliable and exact, and CityMaps2Go for the offline maps for when you don`t have data. But there are a lot of new cool apps around, I`m especially interested in the ones that are more visual, since I`m a travel photographer and many times I chose the places to visit based on how visually interesting they are... So if anyone has good tips on that, bring them on!

Rome2Rio is one of my more valuable tools when a clients starts discussions on destinations! They can see it may not be as simple as jumping on a plane. But then some of the best places are worth the effort!
I love Hotel Tonight. When we used to be able to explore the world, especially on a road trip and no set itinerary, it's been a true life saver and offers great last minute rates at curated hotels.

Airside Mobile Passport is my favorite but sad that not all airport use it. And if you want it to store your passport information for ease of use $14.99 isn't bad, especially if you have the whole family traveling as you can add them to your app, too.

I use Planned Adventure for everything. :) It allows me to stay organized with everything from prepping for a trip, to during a trip, to after a trip. I can include others in trips if i want to as well. It is kept all in one place which is nice, so i can go back and reminisce or reference something when I want to. :)
I use Park4night and iOverlander so much when we are on the road. They are both built by the community contributions and they are great for finding wild camp spots, places to get vehicles fixed, useful shops, etc.
For all traveling parents: GOWHEE APP is amazing :) All the locations are vetted by other parents, there is 30+ filters to narrow down your search for things you and the kids need. Think changing table, crib available, kids menu etc... Lifesaver when you need to find something to do in a pinch. There is places around the world.
Hi Maud, have you ever thought about preparing self-guided tours for families in popular cities for your audience? You can create such tours easily and free on cms.smart-guide.org and choose to leave free to promote your brand or make the paid / available to your paying users.
I am a bit biased:) but have to recommend the SmartGuide app - audioguides and free self-guided tours in hundreds of destinations so that you can explore at your own pace and learn a lot more about the places you visit than what you would see from Google Maps.
